Photos taken from Examiner, published on Feb. 4 2008.The new U.S President, Barack Hussein Obama is expected to start his work on next Wednesday to plan a formal administration takeover on January 20, 2009 and assembling a team to tackle the financial crisis and other challenges including to fulfill his campaign promises.

Among others, he has to restore U.S. leadership in the world by working closely with foreign allies, to withdraw U.S. troops from Iraq in the first 16 months of his ter and to bolster U.S. troop levels in Afghanistan.
But, what is more important than all the above is that, I hope that one day hidayah will eventually come to him.
In an interview with Nicholas Kristof, published in The New York Times 2007, Obama recited the Muslim call to prayer, the Azan, with a first-class arabic accent. He said, the Muslim call to prayer is "one of the prettiest sounds on Earth." [Read More...]
But, Obama asserted, "I've always been a Christian," and he has adamantly denied ever having been a Muslim. "The only connection I've had to Islam is that my grandfather on my father's side came from that country [Kenya]. But I've never practiced Islam." He also claimed: "I have never been a Muslim. … other than my name and the fact that I lived in a populous Muslim country for 4 years when I was a child [Indonesia, 1967-71] I have very little connection to the Islamic religion."
